Mud flats of Blomidon Lowest tide; the red mud went on forever The upper basins of the Bay of Fundy are part of the "World’s Highest Tides Ecozone" where the peak tidal range is around 15 m (50 ft) — five times higher than typical tides on the rest of the Atlantic coast. This was my third time to witness how quickly the tides move to make the shift in 6 hour cycles. Incredible! Week 10 - Nova Scotia
